Itinerary
A Peek at What Awaits
Day 1: April 22 – Arrival in Palermo & Castellammare del Golfo
Benvenuti in Sicilia! From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the island’s golden light, sea breezes, and centuries of history wrap around you like a warm embrace.
After landing at Palermo Airport, your private driver will whisk you along the scenic western coastline to the charming seaside town of Castellammare del Golfo — your home base and the beginning of your Sicilian story.
Once you’ve arrived, take the afternoon to unwind and settle in. Whether you choose to rest, enjoy a refreshing shower, or step out for a gentle stroll along the marina, this is the perfect time to ease into the rhythm of island life. Maybe pop into a café for your first Sicilian espresso or treat yourself to a creamy gelato — you’ve earned it.
Knowing that today has been a long travel day, we’ll keep things easy and relaxed. As the sun dips below the Tyrrhenian horizon, we’ll gather as a group for a welcome aperitivo overlooking the harbor, followed by dinner at a local trattoria, where you’ll savor your first true taste of Sicily — simple, soulful, and perfectly paired with a glass (or two) of local wine.
The adventure has just begun… welcome home.

Lunch will be unhurried, shared at a local trattoria where each dish tells a story — olive oil pressed nearby, herbs gathered from the hills, and wine kissed by the Sicilian sun.

Day 3: April 24 – Segesta & Calatafimi
This morning, your day begins in the heart of the countryside at a local caseificio — a small, family-run cheese dairy nestled among olive groves and golden fields. Here, you’ll meet the artisan cheesemakers who pour their hearts into preserving Sicily’s rural traditions. As they share their craft and their stories, you’ll taste their passion come to life in every bite — from fresh ricotta still warm from the vat to aged pecorino and other local specialties. It’s a true taste of the island’s soul.
From there, we make our way to the ancient site of Segesta, where history and legend intertwine beneath the Sicilian sun. The majestic Doric Temple rises in perfect harmony with the surrounding hills, while the nearby Greek Theater offers sweeping views that seem to reach all the way to the sea. With your guide, you’ll wander through this timeless landscape, hearing stories that bridge past and present.
Next, we continue to the hilltop town of Calatafimi, a quiet gem surrounded by vineyards and rolling countryside. You’ll be welcomed at a charming agriturismo for a relaxed farm-to-table lunch, where everything on your plate — from handmade pasta to seasonal vegetables and local wine — celebrates the heart of Sicilian hospitality.
In the afternoon, it’s time to slow down and rejuvenate at the Terme Segestane, natural hot springs known since ancient times for their healing properties. Bring your bathing suit, slip into the warm mineral waters, and let the gentle rhythm of nature wash over you.
As the evening unfolds, return to Castellammare del Golfo for dinner at a beloved local pizzeria, where the scent of wood-fired dough fills the air and every slice captures the simple, comforting joy of Sicilian life.

Day 4: April 25 – Palermo & Monreale
This morning, we head straight into the heartbeat of Palermo, Sicily’s dazzling capital — a city that hums with life, color, and contradictions. Here, grand Baroque churches rise beside bustling street markets, centuries of history mingle with modern rhythm, and every corner tells a story waiting to be discovered.
Our first stop is Monreale, perched high above the city and bathed in golden light. Step inside the world-famous Cathedral of Monreale, where more than 6,000 square meters of Byzantine mosaics shimmer like sunlight on the sea, telling ancient tales of kings, saints, and faith. Wander the peaceful cloisters, a quiet oasis framed by graceful arches, before descending into the vibrant pulse of Palermo below.
With your local guide, explore the city’s remarkable blend of Arab-Norman grandeur and Baroque opulence. Visit the awe-inspiring Palermo Cathedral, the architectural crossroads of Sicily’s history, and stand in the heart of the city at Quattro Canti, where artistry and energy collide. Continue to the Church of the Martorana, a masterpiece of mosaic and marble that captures the spirit of Palermo’s layered soul.
Then, let yourself be swept into the city’s most delicious chaos — the Ballarò and Capo markets — where sizzling arancine, crisp panelle, and warm sfincione fill the air with irresistible aromas. Taste your way through the stalls, chat with the locals, and finish with the sweetest note of all: a traditional cannolo, crisp and creamy perfection.
We’ll pause for lunch in the historic center, with time afterward to browse local shops, sip espresso in a sunny piazza, or simply watch the world go by.
As evening settles in, we return to our home base for a hands-on pasta-making class — a joyful, laughter-filled experience where you’ll roll, shape, and cook your own Sicilian dinner from scratch. Together, we’ll raise a glass to a day that captures the very essence of Sicily — history, flavor, and heart.

Day 5: April 26 – Mazara del Vallo & Marsala
Today, we follow the sun along Sicily’s western coast to Mazara del Vallo, a seaside town where Arab-Norman architecture, colorful tiles, and winding alleys tell the story of centuries of cultural exchange. Here, every corner hums with life — the scent of salt air mingles with baking bread, laughter echoes through narrow streets, and bright murals add a modern heartbeat to ancient walls.
We’ll wander through the enchanting Kasbah district, a maze of art and history shaped by the town’s North African roots. Step inside the Dancing Satyr Museum, home to the famous bronze statue fished from the depths of the Mediterranean — a mesmerizing symbol of beauty, movement, and mystery. From there, take a slow stroll along the harbor, where vibrant fishing boats and sunlit water frame a picture of everyday Sicilian life.
For lunch, we’ll savor Mazara’s signature Cous-Cous di Pesce, a dish that perfectly captures the island’s cultural fusion — warm, aromatic, and rich with the flavors of both Sicily and the Maghreb.
In the afternoon, our path leads to Marsala, a land of golden light, windmills, and sea-kissed air. Here, we’ll visit the legendary Florio Winery, one of Sicily’s oldest and most storied cellars. Wander through its atmospheric barrel rooms, where the scent of oak and time fills the air, and enjoy a private tasting of their finest vintages, paired with local cheeses and savory bites.
As the sun begins to dip toward the horizon, we’ll settle in for a sunset aperitivo and light dinner overlooking the tranquil Stagnone Lagoon, where the sky glows in shades of rose and gold and the silhouettes of ancient windmills stand quietly against the evening light.
You’ll return to Castellammare del Golfo with a heart full of warmth, a spirit kissed by sea breeze, and the unforgettable taste of Sicily lingering long after the day is done.

Day 6: April 27 – Piana degli Albanesi, Corleone, Ficuzza & Cefalà Diana
We begin with a drive deep into the heart of Sicily, where winding roads weave through rugged mountains, olive groves, and sunlit valleys — landscapes that reveal the island’s quieter, more soulful side.
Our first stop is Corleone, a town rich in history, legend, and unmistakable Sicilian character. Pause for a mid-morning coffee or snack in the central piazza, where the rhythm of daily life moves at its own easy pace — elders chatting in doorways, children playing, church bells echoing through the hills. It’s a glimpse into the heart of authentic Sicily.
From there, the road leads us through countryside and forest toward Ficuzza, a charming village framed by towering trees and the wild beauty of a nature reserve. Step inside the elegant Real Casina di Caccia, the royal hunting lodge built for King Ferdinand III in 1799 and wander its grand halls while learning the fascinating stories of its regal past.
We’ll then gather for lunch at Gorgo del Drago, a countryside trattoria renowned for its warm hospitality and rustic dishes — handmade pastas, local cheeses, and wines that taste like the land itself. This is Sicily at its most genuine and heartfelt.
On the return journey, we’ll stop at the Bagni di Cefalà Diana, ancient Arab thermal baths built of honey-colored stone, once prized for their healing waters and serene atmosphere — a quiet moment to reflect on the island’s layered history.
This evening, back in Castellammare del Golfo, the night is yours. Take a slow stroll through the lanes of the old town, find a cozy spot for aperitivo, or settle into a local restaurant for dinner at your own pace. Breathe in the sea air, let the day unwind, and savor this time to make your own Sicilian memories — unhurried, personal, and full of life.

Day 7: April 28 – Cefalù & Castellammare Farewell Celebration
Today, we head north along the coast to the storybook town of Cefalù, where golden sands meet medieval charm and the scent of salt air mingles with espresso, citrus, and sea breeze. It’s a place that feels like a painting come to life — warm, colorful, and effortlessly timeless.
Under the shadow of the dramatic Rocca promontory, wander through winding cobblestone lanes filled with artisan boutiques, tucked-away courtyards, and balconies overflowing with bougainvillea. Step inside the magnificent Norman Cathedral, its Byzantine mosaics gleaming like sunlight on water — a masterpiece that has watched over this town for nearly a millennium.
Take your time along the seafront promenade, where fishing boats rest in the turquoise bay and waves dance gently along the shore. We’ll gather for a leisurely seaside lunch, savoring freshly caught seafood paired with a crisp Sicilian white wine — the perfect pairing for the rhythm of coastal life.
The afternoon is yours to explore, shop, or simply relax with a gelato by the beach, letting the Mediterranean breeze carry your thoughts away.
As the sun begins to set, we return to Castellammare del Golfo, where twilight paints the harbor in shades of rose and gold. Tonight, we come together one last time for a farewell celebration overlooking the sea — a dinner filled with laughter, gratitude, and the flavors that have defined our Sicilian journey.
Raise your glass to la dolce vita, Sicilian style — to the friendships made, the memories created, and the magic of Sicily that will stay with you long after you’ve gone.

Day 8: April 29 – Arrivederci
As dawn breaks over the Tyrrhenian Sea, you’ll rise early for your private transfer to Palermo Airport, taking one last lingering look at the coastline that has filled your days with sunshine, laughter, and discovery. With your heart full — and perhaps a suitcase brimming with wine, olive oil, and sweet Sicilian treasures — you’ll bid a warm arrivederci to this island of beauty, flavor, and soul. Wherever life takes you next, a piece of Sicily will travel with you.
Departure times will be carefully coordinated to ensure a smooth, comfortable journey home.
If you’re not quite ready to say goodbye (and we wouldn’t blame you!), please let us know at least 48 hours in advance — we’ll be delighted to help extend your stay or arrange additional excursions to continue your Sicilian story (additional charges may apply).
As you take your final sip of cappuccino and say goodbye, know that Sicily isn’t truly a place you leave — it’s a feeling you carry with you, a rhythm that stays in your heart long after your journey ends.

Note:
We want you to rest well, savor every moment, and experience Sicily at an unhurried pace. While we don’t anticipate any changes to the itinerary, start and end times may vary slightly depending on the season, weather, or local events — always with your best experience in mind.
