Travel & Experience Policy – Sips of Sicily

1. Overview

This Travel & Experience Policy explains how experience concepts curated by Sips of Sicily are coordinated, scheduled, and facilitated.

Sips of Sicily does not sell travel packages, tours, accommodation, or transportation services.

We operate as an experience designer and coordinator, collaborating with independent local partners who provide the actual services.

By submitting a booking request or payment, you acknowledge and accept this role and the terms below.

2. Booking Confirmation

Your reservation is confirmed once:

Full payment has been received, and

A confirmation email has been sent to you.

Your confirmation will specify the experience concept, dates, inclusions, and third-party partners involved, where applicable.

Any reference to services such as transportation, meals, tastings, or guides refers to independent third-party providers, not to Sips of Sicily directly.

3. Meeting Points & Start Times

Exact meeting points and start times are provided in your confirmation email.

Guests are responsible for arriving on time.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the experience may proceed without you and no refund will be issued.

Please verify all details and allow extra time, especially in rural or historical locations.

4. Transportation & Local Partners

Some experience concepts may include transportation or services delivered by independent local providers.

Sips of Sicily does not operate transport services and is not liable for delays, interruptions, or issues caused by third-party operators.

All services remain subject to local regulations, availability, and provider policies.

5. Dietary, Health & Safety

If food or drink is part of the experience, guests must inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions before booking.


While we communicate requests to partners, we cannot guarantee allergen-free environments.

Guests are responsible for assessing their own physical condition and ability to safely participate.

6. Changes to Experience Concepts

Experience concepts may require changes due to weather, local conditions, or partner availability.

Sips of Sicily reserves the right to adjust schedules, routes, or inclusions while maintaining the spirit and overall value of the experience.

7. Weather & Force Majeure

If an experience cannot operate safely due to force majeure (weather, strikes, road closures, government restrictions, natural disasters), guests will be offered:

Rescheduling, or

A refund according to the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Sips of Sicily is not responsible for any additional personal expenses (travel, lodging, flights, etc.).

8. Guest Conduct

Guests must behave respectfully toward staff, local communities, and other participants.

We reserve the right to remove any guest for unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior, without refund.

9. Travel Insurance & Liability Disclaimer

Guests are strongly required to obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering:

Medical emergencies

Trip cancellations

Delays

Lost belongings

Sips of Sicily assumes no responsibility for losses, injuries, or damages unless directly caused by proven negligence.
