Refund & Cancellation Policy – Sips of Sicily

1. General Policy
At Sips of Sicily, we take pride in offering small-group experiences that celebrate authentic Sicilian culture.
Because each experience requires advance preparation, local coordination, and limited group size, specific refund and cancellation conditions apply.
By booking through our website or directly via email, you acknowledge and agree to the following policy.
2. Cancellations by the Guest
We understand that plans can change. To be fair to all guests and our local partners, cancellations must be made in writing via email to sipsofsicily@gmail.com.
- 90 days or more before the experience: Full refund (less commissions)
- 30 days before the experience: 50% refund (less commissions)
- Less than 30 days: Non Refundable
Refunds will be issued to the same payment method used for booking. Processing may take up to 14 business days.
No-shows or late arrivals are considered non-refundable.
3. Cancellations by Sips of Sicily (Force Majeure or Unforeseen Events)
Sips of Sicily reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any experience due to:
• Adverse weather conditions,
• Safety concerns,
• Insufficient participation,
• Local or regional restrictions, or
• Other events beyond our reasonable control (“force majeure”).
In such cases, guests will be offered the choice between:
• A partial refund (less commissions), or
• Rescheduling the experience to another available date.
Sips of Sicily is not responsible for any additional costs (e.g., travel, lodging, airfare) resulting from such cancellations.

4. Changes to Bookings
Minor adjustments (e.g., name changes, time changes, dietary preferences) can be requested up to 14 days before the experience, subject to availability.
We’ll always do our best to accommodate reasonable requests.

5. Refund Method
Approved refunds are processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
Refunds are not issued in cash or to a different account.

6. Non-Refundable Situations
No refund will be issued if:
• You miss your scheduled experience or arrive more than 15 minutes late;
• You fail to provide required personal information for booking (if applicable);
• You voluntarily leave an experience before it ends.
